Celery Seed: Considered a good source of vitamins?

Celery seed is not a good source of vitamins. While celery does contain some essential vitamins and minerals, the amount is too small to make much of an impact on our health. Celery is rich in vitamin K, but it contains very low amounts (about 1 milligram per 100 grams) of other B-complex vitamins such as thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, pantothenic acid, choline, and folates. It has antioxidant properties due to its content of phenolic compounds. However, the amount of antioxidants in celery is much lower than in other vegetables, so it cannot be considered a reliable source of dietary antioxidants.
